Commercial Division

If you have a big project, we have the crew to build it

NH Hardscapes isn't just a residential patio company. We install commercial hardscapes that take real traffic, real loads, and real weather — engineered bases, heavy-duty pavers, structural retaining walls, and drainage designed for the long haul. One crew from excavation to final joint, so nothing gets lost between bids.

  • Commercial-grade base & paver systems
  • Licensed & fully insured
  • Our own equipment & operators
  • 5-year workmanship warranty
  • Coordinate with your GC or architect
  • Phased scheduling to keep sites open

What We Build

Commercial hardscaping, end to end

Paver Plazas & Courtyards

High-traffic paver systems for office campuses, retail centers, and multi-family courtyards — engineered base, heavy-duty pavers, and joint lock built for foot and vehicle loads.

Structural Retaining Walls

Engineered segmental block and geogrid-reinforced retaining walls for grade changes, parking lots, and site terracing — stamped drawings and drainage included.

Entry Walks & Steps

Grand entry walks, monumental stone steps, and ADA-compliant transitions that make a strong first impression on clients and tenants.

Parking Aprons & Drives

Paver and concrete drive lanes, parking stalls, and loading aprons built to take commercial traffic day in and day out.

Outdoor Amenity Spaces

Patios, fire features, and seating walls for commercial courtyards, rooftop terraces, and multi-family common areas.

Restoration & Repairs

Settled commercial walks, failed walls, and tripping hazards brought back to code — phased work that keeps your site open.

Why GCs & Property Managers Hire Us

Commercial capacity, residential attention

Built to commercial spec

Our own crew & equipment

Skid steers, mini-excavators, plate compactors, and trained operators — no subcontracted guesswork on your job.

Licensed & fully insured

Proper commercial liability coverage and documented safety practice, with a 5-year workmanship warranty on the install.

Commercial FAQ

Questions from commercial clients

Do you take on large commercial hardscape projects?+

Yes. If you have a big project — a plaza, a long retaining wall, a full-site hardscape package — we can do it. We bring our own crew, equipment, and engineered standards to commercial work across New England and Florida. Send us your plans or your scope and we'll put a real number on it.

How long does a large commercial installation take?+

It depends on scope, but here's a realistic guide: a single entry walk or small patio runs 3 to 7 days on-site. A plaza or courtyard runs 1 to 3 weeks. A structural retaining wall package runs 2 to 4 weeks. Full-site hardscape builds — multiple walls, walks, drives, and amenity spaces — typically run 4 to 8 weeks. We phase the work and give you a firm, dated timeline before we break ground.

What's the timeline from first call to project completion?+

Typically 3 to 6 weeks from your first call to a finished project for most commercial builds. Estimate and site walk usually happen within a week; proposal and scheduling take another few days to two weeks depending on design review; then we mobilize and build to the agreed timeline. Large or phased jobs that tie into other trades can take longer — we'll map that out up front.

Can you phase a big build so our site stays open?+

Yes, and we do this routinely. We split the work into phases — by zone, building, or area — so entrances, parking, and walkways stay usable throughout construction. We'll coordinate phasing with your operations, tenants, or GC so there's minimal disruption to your business.

Are you licensed and insured for commercial work?+

Yes. NH Hardscapes is licensed and fully insured, with commercial liability coverage and documented safety practice. We can provide certificates of insurance and W-9s for your GC or property manager.

Do you warranty commercial installations?+

Yes. Our commercial hardscapes carry the same 5-year workmanship warranty as our residential work. If something settles or fails within that window because of how we built it, we fix it. Material warranties from the manufacturer (pavers, block, sealants) apply on top of that.

Can you work with our general contractor or landscape architect?+

Absolutely. We coordinate directly with GCs, architects, and civil engineers — we'll work to stamped drawings, match specified materials, and hit the schedule. We're also happy to value-engineer a design before it goes to bid.

How do we get a commercial estimate?+

Send us your site address, scope, and any plans you have. We'll walk the property, review the documents, and deliver an itemized proposal with materials, timeline, and price. Call (603) 508-4681 or request a commercial estimate through our contact form.

What regions do you serve for commercial work?+

We install commercial hardscapes throughout New England and the Tampa Bay / St. Petersburg, Florida area. For the right project we travel — ask us about your location.
